Excellent facets and cutting - 8 facet for maximum light reflection...lots of flash!
Excellent for any rhinestone application, but especially desirable in costumes where "flash" is important, and our choice for belts and leather wear...somewhat harder than Swarovski - Phil's Choice for Costuming and any garment meant to be seen at distances farther than 4 feet. The Crystal is about 1/4 degree less bright than Swarovski, the colors are excellent, and the AB versions are terrific.
Do not underestimate the beauty of these rhinestones...excellent value and excellent choice of stones.

Czech Extra Grade Rhinestones: Cut only on top and bottom (2X Cut), facets molded. Nice stone for the money, but not as brilliant as the Czech Machine Cut or Swarovski. Available in Crystal and Crystal AB only. This stone is very good for low-end clothing lines...

Our choice for Costuming, any place where maximum 'flash' is desired from rhinestones.
This is an excellent rhinestone, Preciosa has completely re-tooled their plants and are producing excellent rhinestones. We prefer the 8 facet rhinestone to the Swarovski cut (reflects bigger 'chunks' of light) EXCEPT where the rhinestones use is to be seen up close, such as cell phones. We prefer the Czech stone in all other applications...anywhere rhinestones are used unless you are trading on the Swarovski name.
We prefer the Preciosa rhinestones in leather applications due to harder nature of the Preciosa (doesn't crush as easily as the Swarovski rhinestones).
